Career: Gorizia (Italy-Legadue, 1997-98), Gorizia (Italy-Lega, 1998-99), Ragusa (Italy-Legadue, 1999-2000), Pesaro (Italy-Lega, 2000-03), Granada (Spain-LEB, 2003-04), Granada (Spain-ACB, 2004-05), Siena (Italy-Lega, 2005-06).

After two solid seasons in Spain, playing a key role in getting Granada promoted to the ACB from the LEB second division, Pecile is a key player in Montepaschi Siena's new project. He is a great talent, a good passer and a nice ball-handler. He can shoot as well as play tough defense, putting great pressure on the ball. Pecile is a constant joker, always making things entertaining with things such as personalized t-shirts and bracelets.

He has played with the national team since EuroBasket 2001. He made the 3-point shot at the buzzer to beat Greece in the gold medal game at the 2005 Mediterranean Games. He hopes to replace the retired Pozzecco.
