Career: Iraklis Pyrgou (Greece-4th Division, 1998-2001), PAOK (Greece-ESAKE, 2001-05), Olympiakos (Greece-ESAKE, 2005-06).

Last year in Belgrade, he was just seating at the end of the bench together with Bourousis, gaining precious experience with the other European champions of Greek team. But this year, it might be another story for the "Small King" (this is what means Vassilopoulo in Greek) of the Greek team. After transferring to Olympiakos, he has a very consistent season, as coach Jonas Kazlauskas gave him unexpected playing time. Now, there are many people thinking that if he is not in the starting line-up of the Greek team, he will be, for sure, one of the first to get off the bench.

Very quick for his height, he is pure shooter and a big fighter.
